The actress was featured in two episodes of Showtime's Weeds which starred Mary Louise Parker. She has been known for playing Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy on Dawson's Run. For three years she was Marina Cooper in the soap opera Guiding Light and the character brought her a Soap Opera Digest Awards nomination in 2003, for the Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas in the ABC program Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show wasn't picked up.
